Ms Svetlana welcomed us warmly and was friendly throughout our stay. From the moment we reached Villa Tamara in Zavala, the calm beauty of the place and the hospitality made us feel this would be a memorable visit. Set in a quiet cove on the south side of Hvar, the villa had everything we hoped for in a restful holiday.

I first found this family run Villa 25 years ago, and I’ve kept coming back ever since. The clear Adriatic water is just steps away, and the location always helps me unwind and feel refreshed. I’ve stayed in each of the lovely apartments. They all have modern kitchens and nice terraces overlooking the sea. Every year the owner, his grandmother and sister welcome me, and keep Villa Tamara meticulously clean. They’re also delicious cooks, and often surprise guests with home baked treats. I’m already looking forward to another summer in paradise!

The beach is very close to the apartment, and it wasn’t crowded at all. Our stay at Villa Tamara was amazing. The accommodation was spacious, with comfortable beds, a fully equipped kitchen and a beautiful view. The host was also kind, friendly and helpful.

We’ve stayed at Villa Tamara several times, and we’re always eager to return. The apartments are clean and have everything you need, with spacious rooms, reliable Wi-Fi and shaded parking. The beach is about a three-minute walk away, and it’s amazing without getting too crowded. There’s a nice cafe on the beach, too. The sea is spectacularly clear, and Zavala has lots of greenery and trees. It’s always a great vacation. Thanks!

The food, wine, people and location all came together for one of the happiest getaways I’ve had. If you want a full-on escape by the beautiful Adriatic Sea, this is the place. Some of the best beaches in the world are close by, making it a great family or romantic vacation. The fish was impeccable, some of the best I’ve ever eaten. Jadran was knowledgeable, caring and helpful throughout our stay. I highly recommend it. It’s a must-do trip if you’re thinking about Croatia!
