Espresso is the one thing I liked here, it’s quite good. The rest of the food is generally pretty poor, apart from the pizza, which is decent. Meat orders don’t come with any sides, so you have to order and pay for those separately. It felt almost like a scam. If you order fish, for instance, you get just two fillets and nothing else at all, no bread, salad or even a garnish.

We ate here once, and that was enough for us. The food was good, but you can find better and cheaper options in Blato. As we say back home, “so-so.” This place doesn’t have any competition in the city.

The village itself has a nice atmosphere, and the staff are helpful. The dinners for people staying in the house were a real letdown, though. I had all seven, and each seemed made with very little effort: plain food without sauce or seasoning, plus instant soup. They didn’t provide water or any other drink. Restaurant meals were a little better, but mostly greasy and heavy.

A nice spot to sit with a beer and enjoy the view.
