Heaven. Chef Santosh made the best food I've tried this summer, and everyone else was lovely too. I had a beautiful stay, felt like my soul had been repaired.

Villa Nai felt magical from start to finish, the nicest hotel I've ever stayed in. The views, food, location, service, and staff were all incredible. I'm so grateful I got to visit, and hope to be back soon!

A peaceful, beautiful property that puts sustainability first. Maksim and the team really go out of their way to make your stay special. They serve very good food made with local ingredients, along with award-winning olive oil produced right there.

The food was delicious fine dining, using produce from the hotel garden and local waters. My favorite was fish caught that day, roasted with vegetables grown in the garden. They also make their own after-dinner alcohol and olive oil. The oil has won a room full of awards, and it's actually why the hotel was created: it sits among an olive grove that's over 400 years old. Villa Nai 3.3 is a boutique luxury hotel with eight rooms, set in an exclusive area that felt like a secluded island. There seemed to be more staff than guests, and I really felt I was getting away, but in style. The building is unique, flowing into the hillside and blending local rock with modern construction. Everything seemed top quality, though I wish I'd taken more photos. Dugi Otok feels very remote, even though the local catamaran ferry from Zadar takes only 45 minutes. There’s lots of nature and a huge national park, plus things like a saltwater lake, caves, and diving. We didn't get to dive, but we'd like to return for it. Apparently, the park is full of fish. The staff were polished, professional, friendly, and genuine. Frane taught us a lot about island life on a short tour of the area. We visited in early October, which I thought was a perfect time: lovely warm weather without scorching sun, and brisk but very swimmable water. We also got to watch the staff harvest olives and see the cold pressing behind the scenes, which I loved. Since it was late in the season and the hotel was due to close in a couple of weeks, we were the only guests. It felt like we had the whole hotel to ourselves. Wow.
