Auberge Pont-Gaudin

The food was good, but I wouldn't return to Auberge. We stayed August 13th-17th, a year ago, after my mom's funeral. I was exhausted, so I managed to sleep despite the loud music playing at night. It was very noisy and hard to fall asleep. The room had no ice water, so we refilled our bottle at the cooler. There was just one towel for the three of us. They hadn't changed the bed linens after three days, and when I asked, a woman brought clean ones and left. We had to make the beds ourselves. Each time we wanted a shower, we'd go to the office and ask them to turn the hot water back on. The lights also went out in the middle of the night. The pictures and location they advertise gave a very different impression from what we found. Auberge needs a lot of improvement.

The food was great, but the power went off in the middle of the night. It was okay, though I wouldn't stay there again.

When the power cuts out for three to five hours, guests are left using their phone flashlights to get by.

I've stayed here twice already in Gonaïves. It's really clean, the staff are professional, and I love the place. I'd recommend it to everyone, especially the diaspora.
