L Anse a L'eau Beach House

The staff are amazing, the food is awesome, and the price is spectacular. The owner built this place from scratch and treats you like family. Looking down six feet into the beach water, you can see how crystal clear and pristine it is. Haiti is so beautiful, and people have it all wrong. This place is a diamond in the rough, with so much hard work behind it. Anyone who says bad things about it hasn't appreciated or done hard work in their life. Haiti is an untapped, pure country, full of innocence and potential. That's why I'm building a home here for retirement. Go visit Elie and his team in L'Anse à L'Eau. I promise you'll find complete tranquility, serenity, and peace of mind. I don't even pick up my phone here. I was just here in October 2023, then had to come back for Christmas 2023. I love this place and don't want to leave. Seriously!

The beach stretches a long way, so you can walk along it and feel safe. The people are very friendly, the service is good, and the food is amazing. There's hot water and air conditioning too. Beautiful place. I'd absolutely recommend it.

The little houses are spotless and have an authentic interior. It's a lovely place, with excellent service from a local guide and great meals.

Getting from Port-au-Prince to Les Cayes is a worthwhile trip. L'anse à L'eau Beach House has the best beach, staff, and food, and it's my favorite getaway in Haiti. We also had a wonderful troubadour band playing at dinner, and they kept going for quite a while afterward. The establishment gives back to the local community, which impressed me a lot. I hope they keep succeeding.
