La Maison Hotel

I couldn’t do my remote job because there was no WiFi from check-in until around 11 AM the next day. My room also wasn’t serviced the following day. When I brought it up that night, they said I had to ask for it, which made no sense to me. I’ve never had to request room service at other places I’ve stayed, especially at these prices. The bathroom wasn’t very clean either. The employees dress well every day, but the service is horrible. This hotel could be great with a good management team that treats guests and employees better, but I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL TO ANYONE.

The room rate didn’t match what their site had advertised. The tub leaked, and I couldn’t turn off the water that was running when we arrived. My cheeseburger had rotten meat, there was no breakfast, and the restaurant was still closed at 7:30 AM despite advertising breakfast. Only two TV channels worked, and the bed was awful. In the middle of all that, the person who handled our room service was polite and professional. I’ll never use them again.

Don’t book here. I reserved and paid for my sister’s stay two weeks ahead, but when she arrived, the front desk said I needed to send a photo of my card and license. When I asked to speak with a manager, the woman quickly hung up. I wouldn’t trust them.

The staff were good and knew what was going on with the hotel, and the service itself was good. The food was fair for the price. But the rooms need updating and repairs, there was no hot water, and the electricity kept cutting in and out. There’s a 95% chance I won’t return.
