The owners were extremely helpful, and the place looks cool, with a pretty little pool that's free to use, as far as I know. This is probably the best hotel I've stayed at. There's no restaurant in the village itself, which is about the only issue I can think of, though it's not the hotel's fault and an easy 10-minute drive gets you to the next town. The hotel also serves one of the best breakfasts I've had at a hotel, and sells drinks.

Anita and Patrick are wonderful hosts, with lots of good tips on what to see and do. Tisza Lodge has lovely gardens and comfortable, quiet, spotless guest rooms. Their fabulous breakfast includes homemade bread, jams, coffee cake, eggs cooked to order, meats, cheeses, vegetables, yogurts, and cereals. You can help yourself to snacks or fine wine in the honor kitchen. There are plenty of simple ways to enjoy your time here: explore the peaceful village, bike or walk on the quiet back roads, or follow the lakeside path to a secluded spot, beach park, or yacht club. If you're feeling energetic, you can ride up to 72 kilometers around the whole lake. Back at the Lodge, relax in the sun or shade, or spend the evening by candlelight on a cushioned chair or lounger. It's a perfect place to get away from it all for a weekend or a couple of weeks. Do yourself a favor and book a stay at Tisza Lodge!

We had a fantastic holiday and were so happy to find this beautiful place. Patrick and Anita greeted us with bright smiles and a joke, and spoiled us with a delicious breakfast every day. They also gave us excellent daily advice on what to do, with explanations and translations whenever needed. If we needed anything, all we had to do was ask.
