We really enjoyed the area, especially Jósvafő. Aggtelek was nice too, though it felt a little stuck in the early 2000s. The playgrounds by the Cave and around the area were in very poor shape, and the restaurants felt more like canteens in both choice and quality. We stayed at the end of August and were very happy with the house. It’s nicely decorated and spacious. The pool looks small at first, but warms up easily and stays at a pleasant temperature, which seemed ideal for families with small children. The one downside was having just one bathroom, far from the pool, so getting there meant crossing half the house. A standing shower in the jacuzzi room might help.

The guesthouse is clean, well equipped and thoughtfully done, and the hosts were warm, attentive and ready to help. Everything is close by, and it’s also a fairly quick trip from the capital. My children loved every minute here. If you enjoy being outside all day, this is a lovely place to stay. We’d love to meet again in 2025!

We had a lovely weekend here. The jacuzzi was really good, and the house had everything we needed. The owner showed us around, pointed out where things were and suggested some restaurants. Thanks for having us! 🙂

Even with the bad weather, the pool stayed at a good temperature. We found the beds comfortable, and the rooms and kitchen were spacious. The large garden has plenty of equipment, including lots of toys for children and a trampoline. Having a TV in the jacuzzi room is a nice idea. Excellent accommodation.
