Breakfast is included, with both hot and cold options, and it’s served in a cute, cozy courtyard. The family who runs the hotel gives the place a relaxed, family-friendly feel. The pool is a fantastic extra in a beautiful backyard, and the sauna and jacuzzi are open all year, though they cost extra. We rented the whole apartment on the second floor for more privacy, which I’d recommend if you’re traveling with older kids who want a room of their own. It’s very spacious, and both bedrooms have balconies overlooking the pool. The kitchen is moderately equipped and works for making a simple lunch or dinner. It has a fridge, freezer, water cooker, microwave, ceramic cooker, and electric oven. There are three air-conditioning units, and they work efficiently.

The service more than made up for the little bit of noise from the train. The hotel is quite close to the station, so you can hear it. Otherwise, it was excellent.

The rooms are spacious, bright, beautifully furnished, and feel homely. A buffet breakfast with a wide choice of delicious food is served every morning. The staff work quietly and smoothly in the background, and the young receptionist is charming, kind, and very helpful, always looking after guests’ interests. She has a special presence that makes you feel you have to come back. The garden feels like an oasis, full of wonderful plants, flowers, and trees. It’s thoughtfully laid out, with little openings among the bushes, plus quiet corners, benches, tables, and spots for private conversations. In the middle, the large pool draws you in with bright blue water that’s kept clean all the time. From the moment we arrived, I felt everything was arranged to enchant guests and help them relax. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a bit of a fairytale setting.
