The area was beautiful enough to make up for the basic accommodation, and after a day we were laughing about the place. With enough humor, you can have a good laugh, though it’s sad that a place like this exists. Recommended for time travelers. The place was filthy and badly neglected. There was rubble in the yard, the beds were awful and felt like sleeping on springs, furniture doors hung open, the fridge was terribly dirty, and a power cord and socket dangled from the wall. A terrace lamp flickered and only one of the four lights worked. The wifi was so weak it was unusable and even showed as limited. A nail sticking out of a chair tore a rag, the gutter was falling apart, the jacuzzi didn’t work, and there was no pool table. We paid for one day after arriving. Until then, we more or less got what we’d asked for, but nothing for the other six days. When we pointed out that the photos didn’t match the condition and asked for our deposit back so we could leave, they threatened to call the police. That was funny and pathetic. We didn’t want to disappoint the children, who were very scared, and the owners were worried there’d be no income if we left. We agreed to stay at a reduced price, on the understanding that they’d fix the problems and provide the missing equipment. The fixes lasted exactly one day, until we paid. After that, they gave us nothing we asked for, and that’s also when the wifi started cutting out. There’s probably a demand for this kind of place, but we’re not used to these conditions, either from the people or the cleanliness.

I’ve stayed in better places, or maybe only better places! The beds were horrible, and the curtain rod had come off the wall. The curtain was about 40 cm too long, spreading across the floor where people walked. The photos can’t be trusted, they might be 10-15 years old, since nothing looked as expected. The property is listed for sale, so I can understand why they don’t want to spend anything on it anymore. I think it’s been for sale for 10 years!!! The children’s playground was dangerous, the rain gutter leaked, the bathroom ventilation didn’t work, and the yard looked neglected, shabby, and messy. Don’t be fooled by the five-star reviews!!!

We’d just arrived from Debrecen with seven young children, ages 1-8, when we told the owner how run down the place was compared with the website photos and tried to discuss a price that matched the standard. He tried to distract us and threatened to call the police. We eventually got a discount, then stayed through gritted teeth for the children. The spring mattresses made it impossible to sleep, the jacuzzi didn’t work, and the play area for children was dangerous. They fed the dog in the potty area. Nails stuck out of chairs, the awning made it hard to open a window, and our bed was falling apart, among other things. It’s a filthy last-resort dump with a sneaky owner. Run if you see it.

We had a great time! The owners were really kind and helpful, and everything was great. ♥️
