You can walk to several good restaurants and cafes from here, so we didn’t need a car. The lakeside position is hard to fault, with easy access to the water and plenty of deck and lounge chairs. Our room was large, and the air conditioner worked well. Everything, including the lounge and dining room, was spotless. Breakfast was fine, in an old-fashioned style. The place has a lovely old-world character, though it also feels ready for an update.

The facilities and beach were okay, but the other services were really poor and felt a bit expensive for what was offered. Lunch was difficult to get, breakfast was bad, and the reception was always closed. The staff were rude and didn’t seem to care about us or our stay, especially because we were foreigners. Nobody speaks any language other than Hungarian, so good luck if you can read this.

The staff were very kind, and the beachside bar had a high-end selection of rum and gin. The location is ideal, with a private beach. We visited in summer and would like to return in winter to try the panoramic sauna overlooking the lake. Great value for money.

The staff were really kind, and the hotel is pet friendly. It has three small apartments and a large garden with its own beach, which is spacious enough. The public beach is just five minutes away, with a good skatepark, waterpark, trampolines, and nice staff. The hotel is well placed near both the city center and the beaches.

The breakfast was good, and you can choose what you want. The rooms are quite large, with a bar fridge, comfortable beds, a nice bathroom, and a pretty view. There’s a private beach on Balaton, plus a public beach nearby with food and other things. It may be a little too expensive, but the service is good.
