The owners are lovely and made us feel very welcome. You’re right by restaurants and Lake Balaton, with parks for the kids and beaches for the family. Aldi and other shops are just up the road. A great place to stay alone or with family.

A really nice spot for a holiday, near the waterpark and the centre.

We arranged a room at the beginning of May for May 22-25. They confirmed we could come, and we called on arrival day to let them know we were on our way. But when we got there early that evening, nobody was answering the phone. They eventually called us back and said there was no room after all, explaining that “something went wrong.” I can’t recommend a place that handles it this way. 😔

We arrived with the confirmation email, but were left without a place to stay. I’d called the host in the afternoon to give our arrival time, then spent an hour trying to reach him that evening. When he finally picked up, he didn’t even introduce himself, and said something had gone wrong. I’d attached the email, so I still don’t understand what went wrong. We found another place at 9 pm, but that doesn’t excuse the host’s response.
