The location is perfect, close to both the beach and the main promenade, and we found the staff very friendly. Breakfast was good too. For a hotel in this category, the rooms were good, though the hot water sometimes came out too hot or took a long time to arrive.

You might find a slightly better price or room condition nearby, but those places won’t be as close to the lake. This hotel is right at the end of the Tagore walkway, which is a great location. Consider asking for a lake-view room, perhaps on the first floor, since there’s no lift. The room itself was just okay, so don’t expect too much. Breakfast is included in the room price, and the government tourist tax is HUF 450 per person per night.

It’s a simple place, but clean and quiet. The hotel was fully refurbished this year.

The location is good, but not having air conditioning is a big problem!
