For the price, I expected more. The place feels stuck in the last century, only about half the staff speak English, and the food isn’t very good. The WiFi also barely works.

The free entry to the Strand down the street was a plus, and the location is pretty good. The staff also speak German. Our room was very clean, though it could use a 21st-century update. The towel setup was odd: we got one medium towel for the entire stay, plus a literal tablecloth for the pool and sauna. It was useless, and even after asking, we couldn’t get another towel for that area. We would have brought our own if we’d known. We tried both breakfast and dinner. Breakfast was better, while dinner had hardly any variety: lots of meat, one regular side, one vegetable side, and a salad bar. Dinner came with only tap water, and the breakfast juices were watered down. The food was pretty bland, though edible. Drinks outside the package were a bit pricey, and the WiFi was absolutely awful and useless. At that price, it wasn’t worth it.

The dinner was fit for royalty, the hospitality was perfect, and the park was nice. There’s also a good indoor pool. The room itself was only three-star quality.
