We dropped in for lunch and found a good restaurant with generous portions and good quality food. There are familiar Hungarian dishes as well as some local specialties.

It’s been five years since I stayed here, back when Google reviews and Booking weren’t so popular. I remember it fondly, even though I spent just one night before continuing to the UNESCO-listed village of Holloko. The room was fine, breakfast was good, and the staff were very nice. I can only recommend the place if you’re in the area.

Even with the place quite full, service was fast, and our food arrived within minutes. The menu has several interesting, unusual options. Prices are fair and portions are huge. I was really hungry, but after having soup I still couldn’t finish my meal. Definitely worth a stop.

Friendly, experienced waitresses, amazing flavours, and affordable prices. I’d call it the best restaurant in Hungary. Don’t miss it. Highly recommended, and thank you.

We were just looking for a quick meal, and it was quite OK for that. The palóc soup was missing basics like carrots and parsley, though we were still fairly satisfied. Service was friendly and pretty quick, and prices were relatively cheap. It suited what we came for.
