The animation team kept things lively, and there was always something happening. Staff were friendly, and I appreciated how attentive the lifeguards were, actively watching the pools without using their phones. The wristbands showing children's height limits were practical and well organized. The waterpark was the main problem for us. It was extremely crowded, even for a holiday, which made it less comfortable and felt less hygienic. There wasn't much for younger children: our confident 126 cm swimmer and our one-year-old couldn't do much on attractions mostly meant for kids over 140 cm. Our older son, who was tall enough for most of them, had a great time. The main restaurant was packed. Only on our last day did we find the much quieter restaurant upstairs, which we'd recommend. The hotel looks nice, but some basics were missing from the room, like a kettle, which was inconvenient with three small children. Furniture and sun loungers were worn and partly damaged. The atmosphere was pleasant and our stay was okay, but the high price didn't feel fully justified. Crowding and cost made a real difference to the experience.

The warm water in the waterpark made it especially enjoyable in the cold winter, and there were slides for both younger and older kids. We could easily have spent a whole day there. The spa isn't as large as some in Europe, but it has what you need. Just be aware the jacuzzi is in the waterpark, not the spa, so there isn't an adults-only jacuzzi. We stayed two nights with the children and had a great time. The room was spacious, comfortable, and very close to the waterpark. It would be useful to have a kettle, since there's no tea or coffee equipment. The bathroom door didn't lock, and in our room it wouldn't even close, though I think that was a fault with that room rather than a general issue. Breakfast was good, with cheese, meat, pancakes for the kids, and juices from a machine, though for some reason there was no fish. Dinner was less successful: most meat dishes were mediocre, and drinks weren't included. Poolside food was very basic, although the soups were nice. A nice way to finish our winter trip to Budapest.

We were there from January 5 to January 9, 2026. The room was spacious and clean, but that was the only good part of the stay. The food was awful: breakfast and dinner had the exact same dishes every day, with no variety. The mandarins were so poor they seemed like shop rejects, barely fit even for animal feed. Desserts didn't change either, and had no real taste, flavor, or aroma. The service and hygiene disappointed too. The women serving food had very long, unkempt nails, which I found unpleasant and unprofessional. At the bar, staff seemed bored and acted as if serving us was a burden, as though the money came out of their own pockets. There was no effort to improve either the meals or service. A real disappointment, and we won't return.

The aqua park was packed when I went on a Monday in mid-January during school holidays, even though I expected it to be quiet. It wasn't relaxing, with children screaming, jumping in and out of the spa pools, and throwing balls. Staff and lifeguards didn't tell them off, and people were even arguing over sunbeds. For the price, I was very unimpressed and won't return. Staff should be more professional and kind, and do more to make the place relaxing. Getting in was confusing too. I went to the aqua park first, but they said I couldn't enter there, even though my ticket covered both the park and hotel, and told me to go to the hotel separately. The ticket didn't make this clear. They also said I needed a paper ticket printed for entry, despite the email showing a clear barcode and all the information. It's 2026, who still prints entrance tickets? I thought towels and robes were included in the price, but apparently nothing was. When I asked to pay for a towel and said a couple would be helpful, reception tried to charge me separately for three different towels. I thought they were being kind by offering extras, but the receptionist just said "no" and laughed at me.
