Villa Korall

It’s a quiet, comfortable place to stay, and the staff are really friendly and caring. The downside is getting around: the tourist spots take a 30-40 minute bus ride. I’d still recommend it if you’re after somewhere peaceful.

Free parking and quick WiFi, which clocked 65 mbs in my room, made this little hotel good value. My room was spotless, the bed was comfy, and having a small fridge came in handy. The host was lovely too. Definitely worth the money, and I’d highly recommend it.

We could hear people next door through the wall, even though they weren’t talking loudly, so the sound carries. The room was clean, and the lady at reception was really kind and gave us all the information we needed. The place was easy to find.

A family death meant I couldn’t make the reservation, so I contacted Vila Korall three days before check-in. I asked to move the booking to another available date because of what had happened. The manager said I should have anticipated such events and pay a penalty equal to the full stay. The money was taken from my card, even though I received no services. To me, that response was immoral and inhumane given the unexpected circumstances. A terrible experience. Avoid Korall Villa.
