Mandula Apartman

The apartment was clean and in a really good spot. The owner was kind and helpful every time. One of the best places!

I was here for work and found the accommodation comfortable. It’s in a quiet area, with the spa nearby. Definitely worth staying here.

The room is small, but laid out well, and the air conditioning is in a good spot. The kitchen and spa are both perfectly fine, and the infrared sauna is a nice extra, though we didn’t use it during the heat wave. The spa is very close, and overall the accommodation was fine. Getting in with a code and then a chip is modern and works well. You don’t have to carry the key or chip around if you don’t want to. I also appreciated the option to sort waste for recycling. There’s only one free electrical socket in the room, right by the entrance. At night, charging a phone, tablet, camera, or laptop means bringing a three-way power strip or giving up either the bedside light or another charger. We prefer sleeping with the window open when the nights cool down, rather than using the air conditioning, but on both mornings we woke to cigarette smoke coming in. You can’t pick your neighbors, of course. The slanted sun sails over the terrace are useful in other ways, but they keep smoke from rising above the table and chairs, so it drifts horizontally. We ended up sharing every cigarette with the two neighbors. It might be worth considering separate smoking and non-smoking sections, such as the first four terraces non-smoking and the next four smoking.

We hadn’t planned to stay here. We’d booked a room at the neighboring Aqua hotel, but it was below standard and we weren’t comfortable, so we were able to get a larger apartment at Mandula apartment straight away. It saved our weekend. The beds were comfortable, the room was clean, and the kitchen had enough equipment. The TV could perhaps have had more channels. It also cost a fraction of the hotel price.
