Cserke Gyöngye Apartman

Two nights was enough for us. Lots of flies got inside, and a screen door would have helped. When the wind blew and it rained, dirt came in, so even with slippers we tracked sand and mud around indoors. The downstairs toilet was dirty too. The place was unclassifiable, and we definitely won't stay here again.

This place is very neglected. The bathroom smelled and had mould, and the air conditioning cost extra. The kitchen area was full of cobwebs, and the yard looked nothing like the pictures. Screws stuck out of the railing, and we were lucky they didn’t cause any damage. Families with children should stay far away!

We stayed in the largest apartment, which was clean, tidy, and spacious. With our two-year-old and ten-month-old, we didn’t need to bring the basics because they provided a bathtub, feeders, and a baby bed. We got to go to the beach and cycle, and when the weather was good, we could fish and play table tennis. We’ll definitely be back!

We booked for August 12-19, 2019. It was clear they don’t pay much attention to the place. The kitchen was dirty and rusty, especially the electric stove. The bathroom was a disaster: the toilet brush was beyond rating, and there was no shelf for a toothbrush cup or anything else. They also didn’t tell us there were beekeepers very close by, and the flies were so bad we couldn’t sit on the terrace. After all that, this was the first and last time we stayed here.
