I visited in March 2018 and was impressed by the service and food. The staff were friendly, knew their trade, and spoke pretty good English. Their goulash was the best ever, and the cabbage pie was good. The local beer tasted great and was affordable too. The restaurant was very clean, with comfortable seats, and the hostel rooms were clean and warm. I'd highly recommend it to anyone visiting Debrecen.

Simple, clean rooms with AC at a great price, probably the best value hotel in Debrecen. The rooms are in the attic, and there's a fridge, kettle, tea, and coffee at the entrance. Breakfast costs 1500HUF extra, and I could pay by card. There isn't a 24-hour reception, but the lady let me in at 2am when I came straight from the airport. The airport bus stops at Piac utca, right by Szent Anna, and it's at most a five-minute walk to the hotel, so no taxi needed. Checkout at 10am is much too early. In the morning, the lady opened the door on me, woke me up, and told me to leave because it was 10am. Not very nice.

Room 11 in the attic had four beds and was on a last-minute offer, so the price was really good. I was skeptical at first since the hotel was so close to Debrecen's center and it seemed too good to be true, but I trusted my gut and wasn't disappointed. The staff were lovely and spoke English well. The room was tidy, and the clean towels had a black ribbon wrapped around them. At reception they also had booklets about Debrecen's tourist attractions in Russian, English, Hungarian, and Romanian.

Really spacious, big room, very clean and tidy, with lots of natural light. There was a TV and fridge, and the bathroom was nice and large. It's close to the main square and about a 15-minute walk from the bus and train station. I'd highly recommend the place.
