Cozy, clean, and it feels just like home!

As someone who keeps coming back, I can only praise the room quality and service. I hope to enjoy the guesthouse's comfort and the owners' kindness and helpfulness again in the future. The city center is an easy, comfortable walk away. The castle and Gárdonyi House are also just a few minutes on foot. I can only recommend it.

The uphill walk back can be a challenge with small children or older people who aren’t used to walking, so keep that in mind if you’re exploring the sights on foot. We had preschool-age kids, and driving to the attractions was very difficult. On weekends it was also hard to find parking, so we walked. The place is quiet, the air is very good, and we felt very comfortable. We stayed in a two-storey, air-conditioned apartment for five, with a kitchen and dining table. It had dishes, cutlery, an induction hob, fridge, coffee maker, kettle, and microwave. We could eat outside on the terrace. There was a TV in the downstairs room, though we didn't use it. The apartment was clean, the beds were comfortable, and the bathroom had a shower. There was a larger closet downstairs and a small playground beside the house. The location is next to the castle, up on the hill, with a quiet, low-traffic street and guest parking in front. The city center is nearby. Booking was easy, and the owner was kind, helpful, and flexible, readily sharing information by email and phone and always reachable by phone. We paid by bank transfer. The owner also gave us a map and suggestions for programs and routes, plus tips for good places to eat delicious food at very good prices. There’s a restaurant nearby that delivers to the accommodation, too. For current prices, the value is excellent, and the place looks exactly like the pictures.

The owners are really nice, friendly, and very attentive. The rooms are pleasant and clean, with TV and Wi-Fi, and street parking is free. It’s a great spot for relaxing, on a quiet street just a few minutes from the center. I highly recommend it.
