I haven't stayed overnight, but we like stopping in for lunch. The three-course Daily Menu, available from 1130-1600 and priced at 1990 Ft when I wrote this, is delicious and great value. You get a small bowl of tasty homemade soup, a choice of two generous main courses, and a small dessert. The draft Csiki beer was excellent too, and the staff were professional and friendly. It's directly across the road from the Eger Minaret. We'll definitely be back.

We came at 9:05 am, during the 7 till 10 am breakfast hours, and found the buffet nearly empty. I expected it might be replenished, but that was my mistake. There were no scrambled eggs or vegetables, and when I asked for eggs, I was simply told no. Both tables we tried had dirty tablecloths. The apple juice was gone, while the orange juice tasted watered down and the other juices were just as poor. The waiters were unfriendly and wouldn't take feedback; the staff seemed bored and uninterested. The interior was old and dirty. We were told this was a good breakfast buffet, and I'll be having a serious talk with whoever recommended it. I really don't recommend this place. Bad, bad, bad. 😐👎

Really nice room and breakfast, and the price was pretty cheap. Everything was perfect.

We ended up leaving without anywhere to sleep that night. I had made the wrong reservation and got the day wrong, and I told the receptionist right away that it was my mistake. She kept insisting it wasn't hers, but didn't try to find a solution or help us. We left with no room for the night, and we won't book at this hotel again.

The room got extremely hot, up to 30°C, and there was no way to regulate the climate. Its furnishings also looked extremely old. I wouldn't recommend staying at this hotel, even for one night.
