This was easily my worst accommodation experience, and I can't recommend the place. The room itself was clean, but tiny, hot, and noisy, so sleeping was difficult. There was a fan, but it was too loud for us to use. Breakfast was served right in front of our room, which added to the noise. The bathroom and toilet are shared by many rooms and felt heavily overused. The apartment is family-friendly, but picture living next door to your dear grandmother and a grumpy grandfather. The aunt made us a really delicious, hearty peasant breakfast, but the uncle was very inhospitable and seemed a bit like a psychopath. We weren't given an entrance key, apparently so we couldn't have a house party in the room, which could otherwise fit more than two people. If we went into town at night, we had to call them to let us back in, which was very unpleasant. On our last morning, we asked for breakfast and left right afterward. We were supposed to leave the room by 10, and at 10:05 the door was closed when the shouting uncle came out and asked what we were still doing there. We had checked out on time, but without a key we couldn't leave through the closed door. It was such a bad experience. I just can't recommend this place to anyone.

We had a multi-day vacation here as a family from Győr with two children, and everything was fine. The rooms were clean, the beds comfortable, and the surroundings neat and beautiful. The hosts were attentive, kind, friendly, and helpful, with parking in the yard. They even remembered my birthday and greeted me. Thank you for everything! Next time we're in Eger, we'll stay here again. I recommend it to everyone!

We felt right at home. The hostess was incredibly kind and friendly, and did everything she could to make us comfortable. We arrived to a tidy, comfortable, clean place and a wonderfully delicious breakfast. We'll definitely come back, and wholeheartedly recommend it to everyone.

That evening at the wine cellars worked out beautifully thanks to Mrs. Marika. We had arrived in two cars and wanted to have dinner and a drink, so she quickly called a regular seven-seater taxi. We were six people from two families, and the huge rooms made the stay comfortable. Our ground-floor room was about 6×5, with three very comfortable beds, soft cotton bedding, and everything was extremely clean. There was also a wardrobe, LCD TV, and refrigerator. The guesthouse is a lovely, spacious two-storey house with a terraced garden and lots of rooms. The hosts are incredibly kind, and Mrs. Marika pays close attention to what guests need. Thank you for such warm hospitality!
