The owners were really pleasant and helpful, and the renovated house has a very well equipped kitchen, bathroom, and bedroom. The price was excellent, too. It sits on a hill above the city, in a satellite area that’s still being built, so it feels pretty isolated at the moment. The nearest place with any activity is about a kilometer away, which could suit anyone wanting quiet and near-solitude. Still, I have to take off a star for the lack of Wi-Fi or internet. My mobile data was nearly useless because of the weak signal, with 4G barely reaching the apartment door. Getting there is awkward as well: the access road starts narrow, then widens but turns back into stone and clay. I wouldn’t want to make that crawl after rain or snow.

The view was beautiful, and we had no downsides during our stay from April 29 to May 4, 2023. It’s a peaceful, quiet place close to the center, attractions, and thermal baths in Eger, Bogač, Miszkkolc, and locally. The house is new and functional, with fully equipped apartments: a stove, oven, coffee maker, toaster, dishes, and cutlery. There’s also a barbecue area in the garden. The owner is approachable, kind, attentive, and speaks English. I’d recommend it to everyone. There are two apartments for 4-5 people and one for two, so larger groups can be accommodated easily.

The accommodation is tasteful and well equipped. The access road is the snag, SUVs are preferable. That part isn’t the landlord’s fault, though.

I’m satisfied in every way. It’s excellent and very well equipped.
