Őrségi Tornácos Vendégfogadó

We loved the little village sounds, from the occasional bleating to the quiet, green slopes. There was freshly milked homemade milk and delicious forest mushrooms, and it was lovely to have hot chocolate on the bench by the tiled stove while talking about the next day’s sights in Órség. This really is a magical place. Zsolt was a kind, helpful host, and those few days let us switch off completely, leave everyday worries behind, and enjoy the moment.

I especially loved the mornings: just birdsong and a breeze over the meadow, with forests and orchards all around, and so much peace and quiet. The accommodation was beautiful, comfortable, and well equipped, and the host was extremely helpful and flexible. I already want to go back. We will!

For years, we’ve spent a few summer days here, and we still haven’t tired of it. The rooms are lovely and very clean, and the host does everything possible to help guests relax. I highly recommend it if you’re after a quiet break in beautiful surroundings.

We came home with plenty of experiences and mushrooms. Thank you, Csabi, Ildikó, for your support and thoughtfulness, which made our free time even more meaningful.
