Great value for the price. Don’t expect a hotel, but this is a lovely guesthouse and you can bring your dog. There’s even a private beach, and it’s a quiet, peaceful place to rest. The Wi-Fi is fast and the shared kitchen is well equipped. I recommend it.

The rooms and bathrooms have been nicely renovated, and the beach area is tidy and pleasant, with boats and camping beds for guests. There’s also space to play sports beside the lake. I’ve got lovely memories of my stay and recommend it with all my heart. Kudos to the owner for keeping the Mofém inscription on the Holiday House. Go and try it!

The courtyard is spacious, and both Lake Balaton and the town centre are an easy walk away. From the outside, the building makes a much stronger impression than it does indoors, where the decor feels stuck in the 1980s.

We used to come here often when it was the Mofém resort. Seeing the Mofém mosaic lettering still on the building's facade was a lovely reminder.

The place has a lot going on beyond accommodation, including the pirate, 420, and optimistic sailing life. It sounds like someone else is expected to take over the operation next year.
