Hilltop Apartments

We came across Hilltop Apartments on Booking while travelling through Europe, and loved our short stay. The view is stunning, and everything looked new, spotless, and thoughtfully designed. Host Tamas was kind and welcoming; the bed was very comfortable, the shower was good, and there was even a small private kitchen if you want to cook. A Nespresso machine and coffee were free, and parking was about 50 metres away. One thing to plan for: kitchens at restaurants nearby tend to close by 22:00, even when the listed closing time is 23:00 or midnight. If you arrive late, the nearby SPAR, about 1 km away, stays open until 22:00. We'd happily recommend the place to other travellers.

Customer care seems to matter here, and the hosts were very welcoming. The building sits on a hilltop in Fonyod, with a lovely view and reasonable prices.

Bea and Tamas made us feel welcome and were very helpful. The apartment was clean and had all the amenities we needed, plus a very large terrace overlooking the Lake. A lovely place to stay near Lake Balaton at a very reasonable price.

We felt comfortable here as a family of five, and the place was well equipped. It was quiet and peaceful, just right for a rest. The host was a very helpful man. For our teenage girls, the Wi-Fi mattered most 😉, while fans of good music will find something to enjoy too 😁. An interesting place to visit.
