There were some good things here. The location is nice and very close to a small free beach, which is good for most people but not so much for kids under 6 or 7. The food was delicious, with a good breakfast selection, and the hotel interior was quiet and fancy. Staff were polite and nice, parking was always available, and there were darts, billiards, and table tennis on site. The rooms looked fancy and recently renovated, and they could work well for couples. For families with kids, there isn’t much equipment, just as a heads-up for future travelers. Cleanliness was a real letdown. There were spider webs on the ceilings in both rooms, with spiders and lots of trapped bugs, and it stayed that way throughout our stay. There was also a red mark on the bathroom wall that looked like blood, though it might have been juice or something else, and it was most likely from earlier guests. Our room wasn’t cleaned during our stay. They changed the towels and emptied the trash once, after we asked. The room and apartment doors were partly glass, as were the doors inside, so light from the hotel came into the rooms at night. The hotel has no corridors leading to the rooms, just one main open area, with the lobby actually outside the apartments and rooms. You could hear everything from there, including people, breakfast, and dinner. A train passed every 2-3 minutes, and it was noisy even at night, which wasn’t good for small kids or anyone who likes a quieter sleep. The Wi-Fi was terrible. The nearby beaches also aren’t anything special for younger kids under 6 or 7.
