The bathroom wasn't clean enough. For example, the shower had mold and limescale, and the single towel for the whole week was so small it was more like a hand towel. There was no Wi-Fi at all, and the caretaker didn't call even once during the week to check if everything was okay. Gyula itself is nice and tidy, but I won't stay here next time.

We were very happy with the stay. The owner was kind and flexible, and the accommodation was clean and tidy, with great value for the price. It's in the center, only a few minutes from the castle. There was a huge yard, and each room had its own sink, bath, microwave, fridge and TV. We recommend it wholeheartedly!

We decided at short notice to find somewhere in Gyula, and after we called, the owner let us come over just half an hour later. They rent rooms in an old dormitory, with a bathroom in each apartment. At 10,000 HUF a night for two, we weren't expecting luxury, and it was what we expected. The owners are really nice. The bed linen was clean, but cleanliness was the one drawback: there was something stuck to the table and floor.
