The city center is an easy walk away, and the place has a thermal pool, a swimming pool, tennis, table tennis, and other activities. There's a huge green area that could be beautiful and make the place inviting, but it's a mess. The hotel has a lot of potential, though it's clearly been abandoned and poorly maintained for decades. It felt more like somewhere to sleep than a suite to spend time in. It was very dirty, with a spider and webs in the toilet and autumn leaves under our beds even though it was spring. The furniture looks like it's from the eighties, and the hotel itself is just bad. About the very disrespectful reply from this place: I've been there five times in the past five years. A family friend pays a yearly fee to stay there for a few weeks each year. Maybe you should keep better records of your visitors, and perhaps admit that everything I've written here reflects reality, absolutely and 100%. This place is actually closing down in November because apparently they can't operate profitably anymore. That tells a lot. The reply makes the whole situation even more laughable by calling someone who points out general issues a “troll.” Anyone can click on my profile and see my reviews, all of them honest. There is potential here, and it could be great, but it isn't, and they apparently fail to realize that. To be fair, I heard the superior rooms are nicer than the one we stayed in, but that doesn't make this right. I'm bringing my rating down to 1, not only because it's bad, but also because the reply was disrespectful.

The regular 'houses' have small fridges and no microwave or regular stove, just an electric one. There are also more modern 'houses' on the grounds, which I think cost more because there are fewer of them and they're better equipped. It's a relatively cheap place to sleep, with a good location for the spa and city centre, but it feels more like a place to sleep than to live in.

The service is good quality, but the rooms could be better and the wifi is terrible, which really spoils the visit. The elevator had been out of service for days, leaving elderly guests struggling on the stairs. I don't rate the place highly overall.

It's a peaceful, relaxed hotel near the city center, far enough away that you don't hear the people in town.
