The owner is kind, cheerful, helpful, and organized. The hedge around the garden gives it good privacy, and the terrace is lovely under the stars. In the evenings, though, lots of buzzards gather around the lamp, so I’d add an electric insect trap or two. The garden has plenty of space for ball games, plus a shower to cool off in the heat. There’s a well-made swing bed, kettle, and bacon oven, so you don’t need to bring those along. The accommodation itself was clean, tidy, comfortable, and well equipped. Internet is available, which helps since the phone signal isn’t great, though that’s not the owners’ fault. One small drawback: there’s no freezer compartment in the fridge, even though it keeps things cold well. The setting is beautiful, quiet, and cozy, with fresh forest air. Fekete Körös and its sandy beach are only a 2-3 minute walk away. The scenery is lovely, and the long, straight asphalt road on the dam is great for rollerblading. I’d recommend it for a quiet morning coffee in a pretty setting. 4.5 stars from me.
