Kastely Panzio II.

The location was convenient, close to Aquapalace and restaurants, and there was parking inside. But we had a lot of problems with the place. The internet was poor, and the CRT TV had 9 channels, most of them unwatchable because of static. After four days, the refrigerator still hadn't frozen a 200ml bottle of water. The furniture was very worn and abused, and the thermostat only showed the temperature without controlling it. Our room was cold, so we asked for heat because we had a 3 year old with us. The owner said he'd forgotten to turn it on. The stairs were dirty and everything was extremely dusty. The shower hose leaked everywhere, although the water pressure was good. The bed laundry smelled of wood smoke and had small holes. We couldn't sleep until 2 AM because of very loud neighbors, who were guests. The corridor was being used to store crap.

We got along really well with the owner, and the staff know Hungarian, Romanian, and English. We spent a weekend at this nice hostel for a good price. The rooms weren't the best looking, but they were clean and well equipped, with a small kitchen and clean bathrooms.

After 10 hours on the road, we had to find another hotel. I'd already made a reservation and paid for the stay, but an hour before we were due to arrive, I got a message saying it had been cancelled. I strongly don't recommend this place.

It's very close to the aqua park, but the apartment had uncomfortable beds and needed better cleaning. There were spider webs, bugs, and a dirty bathroom. You get what you pay for.
