Panoráma Wellness Apartman Hotel

The traditional Hungarian meals were very good, and the rooms were clean. The rest was a real letdown. There were at most three meal choices for breakfast and dinner, and no drinks were included, not even water. Breakfast came with just one bottle of coffee for up to ten people, and basic things like mustard or lemon for tea weren’t available in the kitchen. The staff didn’t seem guest oriented. The wines were extremely expensive, and when I ordered a 2 cl serving, they charged me for 4 cl. They also brought different wines from what I’d ordered: first red Bikavér, then a sweet red Cuvee, and then another kind. Paying by card was a big problem, so you had to use cash, and the staff got annoyed with guests who didn’t have any. The four-star rating should be three at most. I really wouldn’t recommend this hotel to young people. We had a nice time with my family overall, but never again. The bathrobe pictured says it all about a four-star hotel.

Fine for a few days, but I wouldn’t stay longer. It wasn’t very tidy, and the wellness area is just two saunas and a jacuzzi. I’d pick another hotel if you want to enjoy yourself.

The breakfast was so-so, but the hotel itself is nice, with a reasonable standard for a reasonable price. The underground parking was good, and the family apartments had effective air conditioning.

The restaurant was very good, and the hotel was good too, though I’d rate it three stars. I might have given it five if communicating in English weren’t a problem.
