The breakfast isn't a lavish buffet, but it was filling and more than adequate. Daily cleaning kept the place perfectly clean, and the pension is among the less expensive options in its category. Its biggest selling point is how close it is to the bathhouse: the entrance is about 50 meters away, truly just a short walk. The furnishings feel a little dated, though everything worked, so I'd describe the style as retro. Aunt Zsuzsa runs the house almost by herself, and even the CRT television works. There aren't dozens of TV channels, but we didn't come here to watch television anyway. The pension has received the "Honest Enterprise" plaque twice, and after staying here, I think it still deserves that recognition.

The best dinner we had was the meal shown in the photo, and even that was the biggest serving we got during our four nights. The food was edible, but the portions were so small that even a five-year-old with a small appetite finished and was still hungry. Plan to bring something cold to eat or have money to go to one of the nearby restaurants after dinner. The location is handy, close to everything, and the lady was kind and attentive. She seemed to know who was with whom, where people parked, and where they'd left their car keys. The place was clean, and smoking is allowed on the balconies. The practical downsides were hard to ignore, though. The Wi-Fi barely worked with two people connected, and the TV had only around five channels, with the picture and sound cutting out repeatedly. Sometimes it took 20-30 minutes for the broadcast to return, and then it might last only ten minutes. Even with the windows open, there was no air moving, so the room was unbearably hot at night. Bringing your own fan might help, but you'd have to provide it yourself.

If you're hoping for a quiet night's sleep, look elsewhere. Street-facing rooms have no air conditioning, so with the window shut they get too hot, but with it open you hear music until midnight, motorcycles racing, and drunk Polish people shouting. Parking is another headache: there is no private lot, and the nearby beach makes it impossible to find a spot close by during the day. The Wi-Fi is very weak, so we used mobile data when we needed internet. Breakfast was average. The room furnishings are sparse and dated, and the television was useless, with only a few Hungarian channels available.

It's an okay choice if you don't expect much, since you spend quite a bit of time out of the room. The main conveniences are parking and Wi-Fi, plus the pool entrance is just across the street. Beyond those, there isn't much to recommend.
