We come down from the Great Plain to cycle, and this time I wanted an affordable place in Harkány. It was simple, but had everything we needed to rest after a day out, and the equipment was adequate. We also finally slept in a bed that wasn’t sagging, unlike at some more expensive guesthouses. The owners are a friendly, helpful couple. We went on some good bike rides in several directions, and the quiet setting made it easy to relax at day’s end. I can wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful break.

The room was clean, and the bed and bedding were excellent. But the building is old and neglected, and it’s long overdue for renovation and a general tidy-up.
