We were traveling down the river in an inflatable canoe, so being about 700 meters from the Danube worked out great. This is an affordable, spacious apartment in Harta (Hartau), with a pretty good kitchen and a west-facing terrace. There’s a minimarket and pizza restaurant nearby. She spoke German with us. I’d definitely stay here again, though the main road can get a bit loud.

The thick walls insulated well against the heat, even though the place is near the main road. It was clean, spacious, tidy, and well equipped, all for a very good price. I can only recommend it.
