The floors, walls, and curtains were dirty and covered in cobwebs. The taps and doors were stiff, and the nylon bed linen was old. The walls are so thin you can hear someone going to the bathroom. The owner should look around before the season starts. We never saw him; he only told us where to leave the money.

The price was very reasonable, and card payment was accepted. There’s private parking, plus two grocery stores in the village. The apartments are tiny, but fine for sleeping. They have air conditioning, a shower and toilet, a TV, Wi-Fi, window screens, a small balcony, and a clothes dryer. The kitchen has a refrigerator, but is poorly equipped, so bring cutlery.

We booked three rooms for a week, and there was a bit of a mix-up with the reservations. The host was helpful, though, and we were able to move into the agreed place on the first day. The accommodation is pretty average, which is why I’m giving it three stars. The bedding is worn and the pillows are especially poor. There aren’t enough towel hooks or hangers. The kitchen has basic utensils, but you’ll need to bring things like a strainer. There’s barely enough cutlery, so you end up washing it constantly. It’s not very child-friendly: there was an old high chair, but no bathtub. There’s a playground in the yard, but it’s unusable because it’s overgrown, and the grass hasn’t been cut in a while. The garden is untidy and rundown, though at least it’s green.

For four people, the apartment feels cramped and very small. The bed is uncomfortable, and the bedding is poor quality, with a hard, low-quality blanket and pillow. Carrying lots of things up from the parking lot is inconvenient because that’s where the entrance is. The grass in the yard hadn’t been cut. The shower door is off its track, and the equipment isn’t the best. The lack of quality shows throughout, and many things in the yard need replacing. The garden chairs are falling apart and the ping-pong table is worn.
