We ended up enjoying the room and pool so much that we spent more time there than around town. Our one-bedroom was on the top floor, with plenty of room to move around, a sofa, table, air conditioning, and a little kitchen that had everything we needed. There’s an indoor pool, hot tub, and sauna, and most restaurants are within walking distance.

The pool was peaceful and the jacuzzi was lovely, though I wish it had been warmer. We were let down by the steam room being out of order, the large sauna not getting very hot, and the small one being switched off. COVID also meant no welcome drink, breakfast had to be scheduled when the hotel was busy, and masks were required outside the room. We enjoyed the food. Breakfast was a tasty, basic continental spread with bread, cold cuts, cheese, vegetables, cereal, yogurt, and hard-boiled eggs. They’ll also cook scrambled or over-easy eggs if you ask. Our room was clean and comfortable, with a newly renovated bathroom. The mattress could use an update. There was a kitchenette with a two-burner stove, microwave, fridge, sink, and basic cookware. All in all, we enjoyed staying here and felt it was worth the price.

The wellness area was really good, and we had a large, clean, pleasant room. Breakfast was great too.
