The rooms were great and well cleaned, and having breakfast and dinner included made the stay feel easy. There was a huge buffet selection, enough to set you up for the day, so I'd definitely recommend the hotel. One thing left a bad taste, though: every drink at dinner cost extra, even water, and bringing your own water was strictly prohibited. I don't remember seeing any warning about this when I booked. Staff said the rule had recently come from the main office in Budapest and they couldn't change it. I wouldn't have minded paying for water so much if it hadn't been 7-10 times the grocery store price.

This really isn't suitable for families with small children. The crib they provided was broken, and the only kids' chair hadn't been cleaned by the staff. We had to clean it ourselves before every meal.

Mornings were peaceful, with birds singing, and the church looked beautiful lit up at night. Our room was nice and sunny, and the staff were pleasant and polite. Breakfast and dinner were delicious, with lots of dishes to choose from. The mineral water lake is very close by, and there's underground parking across the street. Big cars may have trouble getting through the narrow, steep uphill entrance. You should stay for a week. Five stars.

We were right in the city center, about an eight-minute walk from the bus station. Our room was well equipped and the beds were really comfy. The food was so yummy, with different appetizers, mains, and desserts to choose from. A big thank you to Mr. Zsolt Vörös, who was always nice and helpful during our meals. If you're in the mood to try a typical Hungarian retro disco, I suggest Luis club, where you have to dance all night. We had an amazing night in Hévíz with my co-workers. Thank you, Hévíz! 🙂

Check-in took a long time, and the two women at reception had a bad attitude toward guests. After registering, they just dropped my passport on the desk without saying anything. I've never had such rude treatment at another hotel.
