On my first stay, the workshop noise was only occasional, and the neighboring apartment was empty, so I didn't notice how little sound insulation there was. The cooking utensils were sparse, but otherwise things seemed okay. A few months later, when I came back in summer, a long-term tenant downstairs made a lot of noise day and night. What had been occasional workshop sounds had also become hours of continuous noise every day. I complained to the landlady several times, but nothing changed.

The host was kind, and the apartment was clean. The linens and towels smelled lovely. Thank you!
