The room was gloomy, with carpet and furniture from the nineties. There was no hot water. We told the owner several times, but he never came to check; instead, he went to the boiler repeatedly and said the water was hot there. The TV didn't work either. The microwave was in the locked kitchen, and if I asked nicely while he was around, he'd heat something for me, but only around 7 pm, since other guests were arriving and he had to greet them. My dog eats dry food, by the way. After the season ended on August 20th, his colleagues went on holiday, so he was only there when guests arrived. I told him we were on holiday too. When we mentioned the lack of hot water again that evening, he said that if the place wasn't comfortable for us, we should go somewhere else. Breakfast was poor. We took his advice and moved to another hotel in Hévíz.

We spent 8 days here and got home today. The owner is incredibly kind and does everything for guests. Our simple room had a smart TV, small fridge, drawers, a large wardrobe, bedside tables, a comfortable box spring bed, a balcony, and air conditioning. The bathroom had a shower, toilet, and sink. Breakfast was varied and plentiful, with yogurt, kefir, fruit, tea, coffee, and soft drinks. There’s parking in the yard. Hévíz is wonderful. I especially recommend the nearby Grill & Roll restaurant, where the daily menu is 3000 HUF, though prices elsewhere are acceptable too. The sausages at the market are divine, I recommend them to everyone. ☺️

It felt more like a two-star hotel at best. The staff were nice, but the rooms seemed stuck in the 90s and had quite a few problems, including a leaking shower and a balcony door that nearly fell off. For three nights it was adequate, since we were mostly there to sleep. Breakfast was poor, though there was enough to fill up on.

The apartment is close to the center, so everything is an easy walk. The owners were extremely kind and helpful, the people were nice, and breakfast was perfect. We had a very good stay and will come back. Thanks for everything! Hévíz is wonderful, and the lake is beautiful.

We were really disappointed with this hotel. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.
