For a pretty standard two-star lodge, it has some nice advantages: the location, a kitchenette in the room, and a shared kitchen. A few things let it down, though. Online check-in is only in Hungarian, each person gets one towel and some are hand-towel sized, and breakfast was the same every day with too little protein. There was only one hand soap in the room.

The online check-in process was way too much. Staff were either unavailable or didn’t respond in English or German. Breakfast was small, but the kitchen and the co-op kept me from going hungry.

For a night on the road, this room is good value and has all the amenities you need. The WiFi was excellent, the best I’ve had this holiday. I wouldn’t stay longer than one or two nights, though. There’s not much to see or do in the neighborhood.

I really liked the patio tables and chairs, a nice spot to have breakfast. Lovely place.

Even with a late arrival, booking was possible and the service was super friendly. We had a quiet night in a lovely room, bright and welcoming, with everything we needed. Breakfast was really nice too. We’ll be back 😊
