Flow Hotel & Conference

We stopped here for a day on our way back to the UK and had a great stay. The room was clean and nice, and the beds were super comfortable. Dinner was a pleasant surprise too: the pizza was simple and delicious. I highly recommend it!

The only thing that bothered me was the TV selection. There were just a few channels, so it hardly seemed worth having TVs in the rooms: one Polish channel, two Italian, one Chinese, one English channel, and eight Hungarian ones.

After a long road trip, this was a very good place to stop. The breakfast was generous, and the receptionists were warm and helpful, unlike what I’ve found at many Hungarian hotels. It’s close to the highway, but the windows are well insulated.

I was disappointed with the stay. I’d already posted this on booking.com, but I’m copying it here too. It’s even more frustrating that they seem happy to reply to positive reviews, but don’t take the time to respond to customers who had a bad experience. The food and restaurant service were good. Breakfast was good, and both lunch and dinner were tasty, with very nice service. The bathroom was spacious, with lots of room for our things. The shower drain leaked a little, but it wasn’t too bothersome. There were problems with the room, though. The sofa was dirty when we arrived, but reception had it cleaned after we reported it. We also found a stain and a strand of hair on the bedding. The one-bedroom suite looked bright in the photos, but our room was quite dark. We came for a wedding nearby and had booked extra time so we could relax at the spa before and after it. We found out the spa was only open from 4pm to 10pm, so we couldn’t use it beforehand as planned. The next day I asked reception to show me where booking.com said this, but they couldn’t find the information. They said they’d check whether they could open the spa earlier, around 2:30pm. We waited an hour and heard nothing, so we decided to leave a day early. Only as I was loading our things into the car did someone at reception tell me the spa was open. At checkout, the receptionist asked how the stay was. I said it was more or less okay, but that we’d decided to leave a day early. He didn’t ask why, just said, “alright, thank you and goodbye.” The website photos gave a misleading impression of how bright the room would be. The spa hours should be clearly stated on booking.com, and staff should know where to find that information regardless of which OTA a guest asks about. Customer service could improve too.
