It’s okay.

The only real downside I noticed was that there’s no extractor fan in the bathroom. There is an opening skylight, though, in case someone has a very long shower. The air conditioning worked great, with a setting that sends the cool air upward instead of blowing it at you, plus a quiet night mode. My wife and I stayed just one night while passing through. We had standard room-8, which was simple but really good. It was clean and tidy, and the mini kitchen was a nice surprise, with clean cutlery, plates, glasses and a tea towel ready for us. There was also a fairly large fridge with plenty of room for two people’s things. We haven’t had facilities like that anywhere else. There’s no dining option here currently, but Tesco is an easy drive away for supplies. The mattresses are quite firm. I slept well, but my wife found hers too hard. It was also quiet and peaceful, even with the window open, though we were there on a Saturday and had no neighbors.

There’s no breakfast, but a great restaurant right next door opens at 6:30 a.m. We ate all our meals there, and the prices were reasonable. The restaurant staff spoke German and English. The location seems better suited to business travelers than people on vacation. The rooms are beautiful, spacious and furnished with care. Everything looks freshly and thoroughly renovated, and the bathroom is large with a roomy shower. It’s very quiet inside, with barely any outside noise. The fridge comes without drinks, but you can bring your own to chill. Parking is guarded, card payments are accepted, and the staff are very friendly and speak English.

It worked perfectly for a family needing a place to rest and sleep. The room was clean, spacious and well furnished, with its own bathroom and a big TV on the wall. Parking is good, in a closed yard. The entrance has no barriers, but you do need to take stairs to reach the room.
