We got a room for one night after a long wait at the Serbo-Hungarian border on Friday, arriving around 11 p.m. to 1 a.m. The receptionist was kind, and the hotel was modern and clean, with a large room and bathroom, comfortable beds, and well-set air conditioning. Parking is free, and we found a space, though there may not always be enough for everyone. Getting out of the lot was the one real hassle: you can only turn right, and a traffic light and intersection come less than two metres later. Leaving is easy only when the light is green, and even then getting onto the road takes a little maneuvering.

The location is amazing, but you’re opposite a disco bar, so this isn’t the place for a good night’s sleep. Our room was shoebox-sized for two, and the TV didn’t work. This used to be our favourite hotel, but it’s lost the quality and care it once had.

Once you’re inside, it’s surprisingly modern and well looked after, and everything was very clean. The rooms and decor were fantastic, and the staff were friendly and helpful. There’s parking in an inner courtyard where you can leave bikes too. A really good hotel, absolutely recommended.

We had a spacious room with a balcony and sitting area, plus air conditioning and a very comfortable bed. The hotel is right in the city center and has modern amenities, free private parking on site, and breakfast included. Staff were very friendly and let us check in late. Highly recommend.
