Guest House Móritz

Guest House Moritz is on a quiet street, just a short walk from the lake. The owner is incredibly friendly and really goes out of his way to make guests happy. I’d happily stay here again and definitely recommend it.

The setting is pleasant and in a quiet part of town, with spacious, nice rooms. There’s no AC, but the blinds help. The shower is clean, though it could use some renewal, and the TV is only in Hungarian. Breakfast is good, with tea, coffee, juice, bacon, eggs, ham, cheese, salami, cereals, jam, and milk. It’s all cold food, though, so some hot sausages would be nice. There are two awesome giant Maine coon cats, and they’re quite friendly. One thing to know: they don’t take credit cards, so come prepared.

It’s quiet and has a lovely family atmosphere. There are two buildings, and the newer one is a bit higher standard. The rooms are nice, with bathrooms, and most have a fridge and microwave. There’s a shared kitchen inside and another one outdoors, plus a grill. If you can, get a ground-floor room so you can step straight into the garden. Best place ever, with the nicest people.

There’s a refrigerator in the corridor, and our room even had a hair dryer and kettle. The rooms are in perfect condition. Absolutely worth a visit. 😊
