The buffet was great, and the pools and spas were spotless, which was a big plus. Kudos to the team. A perfect stop for a night around Balaton's lake. The lake view room is worth getting, it's stunning.

In the off-season, the value for the price is great, and it's one of the best hotels on the lake. The spa is great and never seems crowded. Breakfast and dinner at the buffet are much better quality than what I've had at typical Hungarian "4star" hotels.
We really enjoyed walking along the lake, and the spa was a favorite, with several pools and saunas and no feeling of overcrowding. The rooms are spacious and very clean, and the staff were super friendly. If you're after a weekend getaway, Sirius hotel is a great choice.
The lake view from our spacious, comfortable room was breathtaking, and the hotel's interior has a beautiful modern, elegant look. We had tasty cocktails at the bars, and the bartenders were especially kind. Breakfast was average, but dinner was amazing, especially on Friday and Saturday. I loved the spa pools, particularly the outdoor one, which was enjoyable even in winter. I did miss having a swimming pool and a proper jacuzzi. The saunas were very nice, though, and the sauna seance was a real treat. There were plenty of sunbeds, so it never felt crowded. Getting there by train from Budapest was easy. The hotel is near the train station, about a 15-minute walk away. I was very impressed with my stay at Sirius Hotel in Keszthely, and would highly recommend it for a relaxing spa getaway.
The spa, pool, sunbeds, and saunas were top class. We also paid around €100 extra for the Harmony island experience, and it was fantastic: prosecco, fruit, a relaxation bed, a private jacuzzi, and a private infrared sauna. Our couples massages were a bit mixed, but the experience overall was very good and worth the money. We stayed at Sirius for two nights in August 2024. Getting to the main entrance is easier by car, but there's a lovely footpath from the port along the beach entrance, all the way to the hotel. Our room wasn't ready when we arrived, but the welcome drink at the bar, a nice glass of sparkling wine, was a thoughtful touch. The room was spacious, clean, and lovely, with a nice balcony. The key watch and card were easy to use. Breakfast was nice both days, with a wide range of food, including a few odd choices like vegetable stew, which isn't really breakfast food for me. Dinners were nice too, though a couple of dishes missed the mark and some options, like liver, seemed unusual for a hotel buffet. We still found tasty things both nights, and the duck leg was my highlight. One evening we rented paddle boards for about €11 per person and had a lovely time out in the bay. Hope to be back soon.
