It could be better.

We were only in town for a few days, and the accommodation worked out perfectly. The host is straightforward, incredibly kind, and helpful. For the price, it’s an excellent choice, and I’d definitely recommend it to anyone needing a place in Keszthely or nearby.
The owner is lovely and helpful, and that, along with the reasonable price, is why I’d recommend this place. The apartment is a simple family home with a retro feel and decent value, but it could use some renovation. We stayed here seven years ago, and little seems to have changed since then. There’s plenty nearby: Festetics Castle is a few minutes on foot, and you can even see its tower from the window. The Historical Model Railway Exhibition and Hunting Museum are also close, as is the pedestrian street with its small museums, exhibitions, and restaurants. There’s a small CBA market nearby, plus LIDL, a gas station, car wash, tire shop, and Jysk just a few minutes away. The city beach, Tesco, and Shell are about five minutes by car; McDonald's, Aldi, and another Lidl are farther along. The beaches of Gyenesdiás are around ten minutes away by car. With kids, Zobori Experience Park is worth a visit, about a 30-minute drive. The furnishings are dated. The TV is old, with CVB and few channels, the microwave is old and can’t be controlled, and the refrigerator barely cools. Some lamp bulbs are missing, and the lighting is weak. The shower is small and has low water pressure. Cutlery and plates are scattered around, there’s no espresso maker, and the old fans are noisy. There’s no air conditioning. The sofa has completely lost its seating, and the coffee table wobbles so much it nearly falls apart. The beds were very uncomfortable. Under the old foam mattresses, the slats have been reinforced with furniture backs. The bed edges stick up higher than the foam and press against you. The two single beds pushed together can’t really be called a double, since the edges meet and protrude in the middle. A car hardly fits in the yard, unless it’s very small, so parking is on the street. From the apartment, you can’t see the car in front of the house because trees block the view from the terrace. The contractor next door regularly works in his workshop. For the last three days, he ran noisy machines until 10 pm every night. :-(
Absolutely yes. It’s easy to get to, well located, and well equipped. The owner is very kind and helpful.
We’ve already stayed here five times, and I’m sure we’ll come back. The apartment is cozy, family-friendly, and well equipped, in a quiet part of Keszthely. The Hungarian owner is friendly, kind, and helpful. I highly recommend it.
