The food is great, the location is very good, about a five-minute walk from Lake Balaton, and the staff are kind, helpful, and speak English well. There are some downsides. Even with full board, drinks aren’t included with lunch or dinner, not even water. The spa isn’t maintained very well, and the jacuzzi is only okay if you’re the sole person in the whole spa. Bathroom water pressure is extremely weak, and it has a bit of a bad smell. Our room faced a busy street, so if you’re a light sleeper, you can’t leave the window open at night. The air conditioning isn’t the best. Personally, I wouldn’t rate this hotel as four stars. It would pass as a good three-star hotel.

That evening, the young man at reception was so pleasant and dependable, and he really went out of his way to help. I wanted to give him a compliment.

We had a really nice stay. The rooms are roomy and furnished well, with a comfortable bed. The staff were friendly and quick to help whenever we asked. We got a crib for the baby, the information we needed, and could leave our car in the parking lot after checkout. The sauna, jacuzzi, and salt room were a nice touch, and breakfast was good too. I'd recommend it.

The rooms were clean, though only minimally equipped, and the furniture wasn't in good condition. There was no mat or carpet on the floor, so it felt really cold. We only had one towel per person, and had to pay extra to get one for the spa. The wellness area is very small, as promised. At first the equipment looks like four-star quality, but the details don't hold up. On Friday at 8 pm the bar had just one bottle of white wine and no snacks. Breakfast was low quality too.

The location is handy, just a few minutes from the main train stations, and there's a car park on site. The rooms are spacious, the beds comfortable, though they only provide one small pillow. The stay includes access to four saunas, showers, changing rooms, and a jacuzzi. Bring slippers if you're heading up to the saunas. Breakfast is a pleasant continental spread with welcome drinks. Good value, and I'd recommend the quiet place for couples or solo travelers.
