Peter was super helpful and accommodating, and the price was very good value. The apartment was spotless and had everything we needed. We also loved having coffee on the balcony. It’s in a quiet area, with allocated parking, and Lake Balaton is a 5-10 minute walk away. 100% recommended.

I booked four months ahead, but my card was hacked during that time, so I had to get a new one. I updated the card details on booking.com a couple of times to make sure payment would go through, and changed the name once to match my local language. I did not make the ten changes the host claimed I had made. He said the reservation changes seemed “unrealistic” and repeatedly rejected my card, saying it was invalid, for what I felt was an unreasonable reason. I was able to pay another hotel right afterward without any problem. This happened a month before the planned stay, and I felt pushed into canceling. I canceled after the host threatened me. If you need to cancel, please do it yourself through the proper process. Using what I see as dishonest tactics was unprofessional. Be cautious when booking here, as you may have to deal with a very unprofessional host. Dear Host, I canceled anyway because you threatened me. Only you can report things to booking.com, and I can report them too. I changed the name for Visa and updated the payment method to keep transactions smooth. I also canceled once in August, when my plans weren’t finalized. These were actions booking.com allows me to take without your permission. That’s all I have to say, there’s no need to argue further.

This was an impromptu holiday, and we had a really pleasant stay. The apartment went beyond what we expected: clean, cosy, and stocked with everything we needed. The terrace was amazing too. Peter, the owner, was very nice and helpful. We’d definitely recommend it to a small family like ours.

The apartment was comfortable and had everything we needed, and the terrace was awesome. It even has Netflix, which we didn’t use, but it’s nice to have for a rainy day. The owner was very friendly and recommended a good restaurant, which turned out to be excellent. I’d fully recommend staying here and hope we can come back!
